The textile industry has been of much benefit when it comes to manufacturing various types of clothes. However, it also has its fair share of negative impacts. One that is very common is its negative influence on the environment. The truth of the matter is that not all clothing factories will ruin the environment. The irresponsible clothing factories are the ones associated with the mess caused in the textile industry. Such companies have not put in place measures that can curb the emission of harmful gases into the environment. They lack proper waste disposal mechanisms. As a result of disregarding those important factors, the following effects will occur:
Air Pollution

Deforestation
This is one of the most serious impact of irresponsible clothing factories. It is caused by cutting down trees anyhow and leaving the ground bare. It leads to cases such as soil erosion and the spread of desert cover. This is something that an arborist or tree surgeon needs to really put into consideration. Despite cutting down a tree, or moving it somewhere else the ground should not be left bare. It just accelerates deforestation which is very expensive. Textile factories which get their raw materials from trees need to be very careful with their activities. The lives or surrounding residents should not be put at risk at any risk.
Water pollution
Water is very important. It has to be kept clean at all costs. This is something that should not only be practiced by households but also industries. No untreated waste should be let into water bodies. Irresponsible clothing industries disregard these precautions. This means they will arrogantly release untreated waste materials into water bodies. This kind of waste has a negative impact on marine life and also contaminants water meant for consumption. It is very important for industries regardless of their sector to ensure they treat their waste which has to be released into water bodies.
Soil Pollution
This is usually caused by clothing companies which use non biodegradable materials. When the waste is disposed anyhow on land, it has a notable negative impact. The waste prevents significant soil aeration. As a result, soil fertility is greatly affected. There has to be proper disposal of waste or garbage in order to protect soil from pollution.
It goes without say that irresponsible clothing factories do exist. These factories have contributed immensely to environmental pollution. To ensure this damage is minimized, those factories have to lay down some environmentally friendly measures to curb pollution.
