Avoid Assumption Expect Expansion with Ease

comfort zoneJennifer Hoffman – All of the energy shifts and changes that are happening are very upsetting, especially when they usher in big life changes which we didn’t expect or are not prepared for the full scope of what happens as a result of them. These are part of the transformation we welcome with open arms, until we realize that there is far more to that path than we anticipated.

When our comfort zone is disrupted we naturally go into fear mode – fear that we won’t be able to perform effectively in our lives, that we will fail at something, that we will get lost, stuck, or worse. Our comfort zone is not where we are necessarily comfortable; it is where we are surrounded by what we know and are familiar with.

And no matter how long we try to avoid changes because of our fear of disruption, or how hard we try to hold our familiar comfort zone together, eventually it all falls apart and we have to adapt to the new and integrate the changes.

That can cause us to make a lot of assumptions and act too quickly, before we get enough details. We can expect expansion with ease and try to avoid polarity assumptions – assuming that it will be too hard or very easy — in order to get the best results.

Listening to the guidance of our intuition and not jumping to fear-filled conclusions will often help us to expand into new energy pathways and avoid the pitfalls that happen when we expect the worst and assume that we don’t know what we’re doing.

As you listen to this week’s podcast, think about when you may have entered a new life situation expecting the worst to happen and creating assumptions around that and then created more challenges and problems for yourself. Did your assumptions close your ears and mind to the full details? Did you follow through to the end without jumping to conclusions, assuming that you don’t know what you’re doing or engaging in polarity assumptions – preparing for it to be really hard, to feel ineffective and ignorant, getting scared and wanting to quit – before you know the full story.

I share a somewhat funny story of how I did this too and how a moment of clarity, which came when I listened to the very end, helped me adapt to a new situation successfully.

To navigate the transformation that is happening on epic levels right now, consider the following:

Try to avoid polarity assumptions – that things will be very hard or very easy. Find the point in the middle. The changes will probably be difficult or challenging at first, but once you become familiar with them, you’ll find your new congruence and flow.

Listen to your guidance and intuition, they will help you keep your energy balance and grounding while you go through the energetic house cleaning that accompanies major transformation.

Every time we undergo a big energy download or transition we disrupt the congruence – the energy fit and flow – in our lives. It takes intention, energy, effort, and time to create new levels of congruence, to restore the harmony in our lives. Don’t jump to conclusions and assume that you don’t know what you’re doing. Instead, listen to the whole story and make sure that you are fully aware of the entire process so you know exactly what to do.

And in these challenging times remember to set powerful intentions for your life, to shine your light brightly, and to be gentle and loving with yourself.
