How to Ignore All that Worrisome Stuff and Be Happy

Sometimes it all seems hopeless. From partisan politics ruling the prime time news lineup to disasters happening all around the globe, it’s easy to get into a bit of a funk from time to time. But here’s the truth: there are many different ways you can find happiness in life, even when all is lost. Follow these 5 tips to live a happy and carefree life, even while our country plummets into madness.

Get a Pet

Pets are nothing more than God-given happiness (“dog,” in fact, is “God” spelled backward). What’s truly wonderful about pets is that they’ll love you unconditionally—you’ll never have to worry about unrequited love, unless you own some certain species of cat.

Pet ownership is expensive and is becoming increasingly unaffordable year after year. But that doesn’t mean that a furry friend isn’t a worthwhile investment. You can’t put a price on the years of joy that a pet will bring to your life. And you can always save money by adopting a dog or cat from an animal shelter, or by purchasing low-maintenance pets like fish. Owning an aquarium is fun because you can decorate the tank with all sorts of decorations, and you can populate your aquarium with different kinds of fish and aquarium supplies found easily online.

If you’re feeling a little lonely, think about getting an animal companion for your home.

Go Green

Find happiness by going green. No, we’re not saying you should stop eating meat or using plastic. That sort of lifestyle is liberal tree-hugging at its finest.

By “go green” we mean that you should immerse yourself in the environment. Go hiking. Hit the beach. Go camping. Spend more time in the outdoors and you’ll find your body and soul being replenished by the natural air and wildlife.

You can also bring green into your home. Plant a garden in your backyard (or create an urban garden if you live in an apartment). Decorate your home with beautifully potted trees and shrubs. Place flowers around your home in lovely vases and watch your dwelling be transformed. Just research the most popular flowers online and pick the ones that best suit your home and your personality.

Escape from the Corporate Machine

There are definitely a few good things about corporations, mostly that they finance conservative candidates and that they serve as a type of economic Darwinism. While a corporate career can be lucrative, it can also suck the soul out of you. If you find that happening to you, it might be time to change career paths.

Think about turning your hobby into a business. Enjoy photography? Open a photography studio. Good at baking? Open up a bakery. They say that when you have a job you love, you’ll never work a day in your life, and it’s so true.

If you don’t want to start your own business, you can always boost your career through networking and resume building, which may help you land a job that you actually enjoy doing.

Balance Your Chakras

Spiritual happiness is undoubtedly the most important kind of happiness. If you feel that there’s something keeping you from feeling entirely happy, it might be time to take a careful look at your chakra balance.

We all have 7 chakras that directly affect different aspects of our spiritual health. When we’re suffering from an off-balance or blocked chakra, we may feel unhappy in whatever area of our life that chakra represents. By paying close attention to your chakras, you’ll be able to identify what parts of your life need to be changed so you can life a happier and spiritually balanced life. You can learn to manage your chakras by yourself, or you can enlist a chakra management service.

Don’t worry! You can practice chakra management and be Christian at the same time.

Turn Off the TV

Last but not least, turn off the TV! As you probably know by now, the television airwaves are dominated by fake news media. Unless you’re listening to a fair and unbiased news network, then you shouldn’t eat the poisonous food that the liberal media pundits are trying to feed you every evening.

Ignorance, as you know, is bliss.
