Restore America – This week, Sen. Chuck Grassley filed a 414-page report concluding the Senate Judiciary Committee’s investigation into the sexual misconduct claims against Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh. Their findings, arrived at through interviews with more than 40 witnesses, an extensive review of social media, and evidence provided by both Kavanaugh and his accusers, were that despite all the frenzy and all the “believe women” propaganda from the Democrats, there was in reality no real reason to believe that the judge did the things he was accused of.

“Following the separate and extensive investigations by both the Committee and the FBI, there was no evidence to substantiate any of the claims of sexual assault made against Justice Kavanaugh,” Grassley wrote in a letter to Senate Republicans on Friday.

Not only were Christine Blasey Ford’s allegations against Kavanaugh found to be without merit or substantiation, several other of Kavanaugh’s accusers were lacking in credibility, according to the report. This included Julie Swetnick, whose high-profile accusation against Kavanaugh was made public by her attorney, Michael Avenatti. The committee concluded that this accusation was not only untrue but was likely an intentional hoax.

“Indeed, the evidence appears to support the position that Julie Swetnick and Mr. Avenatti criminally conspired to make materially false statements to the Committee and obstruct the Committee’s investigation,” wrote Grassley.

This report will hopefully put to rest one of the darkest periods in the Senate’s history, one which high school students should study in the decades to come. It can be taught as a lesson in what happens when one party decides to put politics ahead of not only government business, but actual human decency. Such a sad display of partisan rage has not been seen in Washington since the McCarthy hearings; even the racially-tinged spectacle of the Clarence Thomas confirmation was not as biased and outrageous as what we witnessed last month.

Sadly, seeing as how liberal corporations seem to have embedded themselves firmly in the textbook industry, we don’t trust for a moment that this is how the Kavanaugh Hearings will be presented to future generations. Instead, the Democrats will be seen as put-upon champions of feminism, seeking to rally for the rights of sexually-abused women and challenge the fascist forces of the Trump Era.

In the meantime, let us at least be thankful that this sorry demonstration failed in the moment and that these psychotic Democrats did not succeed in keeping Kavanaugh off the court. The propaganda victory may or may not be theirs; the practical victory – the one that really matters – was not.
