It’s difficult for us to wrap our heads around this concept because our stories, as a culture, have been reduced to ‘entertainment’ and ‘pop culture’ in our minds. Powerful people who want to control populations know exactly how important stories are. Powerful people, throughout history have always known that “those who tell the stories rule the world.”
For anyone still wondering why the likes of Barack Obama & Susan Rice have turned up at Netflix, this is why.
More than anything else, stories are what shape culture. And it is culture that shapes politics, geopolitics, and world events, not the other way around.
If you learn one thing today let it be this: Politics is downstream from culture.

That’s precisely why, while the debate over abortion heats up within the political system, Planned Parenthood has gone to Hollywood. If you want to win in Washington, first you go to Hollywood. Yet another reason why Hollywood has long been a singular, closed power system, and why I’m throwing everything I have at decentralizing it.
This week we learned that just like the CIA has a Hollywood entertainment liaison and is literally writing scores of Hollywood scripts every year, so too is Planned Parenthood.
Her name is Caren Sprunch.

And here she is with Twilight star Kristen Stewart. Caren Spruch is Planned Parenthood’s woman in Hollywood.
As it turns out Planned Parenthood has advised on over 150 movies and TV shows since 2014. Who knew? The relationship began when Planned Parenthood assisted with the 2014 rom-com “Obvious Child.”
According to recent press reports detailing this bombshell revelation, “Spruch pushes screenwriters to discuss abortion or ‘works as a script doctor’ for screenwriters.. incorporating storylines about abortion, birth control or sexually transmitted infections.”
The writer-director of “Obvious Child,” Gillian Robespierre, has said, “she’s like Planned Parenthood’s secret weapon.”
This past week The Washington Post featured an article by Nora Caplan-Bricker praising this arrangement of having Planned Parenthood weaving their agenda into Hollywood stories.
In the article the “reporter” or shall I say Planned Parenthood PR agent, mentioned both Chuck Konzelman and Cary Solomon, producers and directors of the movie “Unplanned,” which tells the true life story of a former Planned Parenthood director’s change of heart on the subject. Caplan-Bricker calls the Unplanned producers “conservative Christian filmmakers” and mentioned Planned Parenthood has said “Unplanned” “promotes many falsehoods.”
Both Konzelman and Solomon have come out against Caplan-Bricker’s story and her portrayal of not only them but Planned Parenthood’s foray into screenwriting and script supervising in Hollywood.
“Nora Caplan-Bricker’s glowing hagiography of Planned Parenthood’s director of arts and entertainment engagement, Caren Spruch, deserves to be studied in journalism classes everywhere — as an example of how powerfully biased a reporter can be, while remaining blissfully ignorant of it,” Knozelman told the DCNF.
“The Washington Post has adopted the motto ‘Democracy dies in darkness.’ But that’s not quite true,” Konzelman added. “It dies when the fourth estate ceases to serve as an impartial reporter of fact… and turns itself into an advocacy group with an agenda.”
In conclusion, Planned Parenthood advised on at least 150 Hollywood movies and TV shows since 2014. The average viewer will never know this, they’re not intended to. It is done in the same way the Pentagon/CIA have been doing it for decades. To covertly shape the thoughts and minds of the American population. Propaganda by the very definition of the word.
But for propaganda to work it has to be invisible. The second you see it, the instant you know it’s there, it fully and completely ceases to work. So please, spread this information far and wide.
