The Moon has become Full, and with it the Great Mirror in the sky shines, day and night, offering us the chance to grab the elusive or evasive. Something we have not understood suddenly becomes quite clear. These moments can happen all day long with all types of things – nothing should be considered trivial.
We often get “aha” moments of inspiration, understanding, or guidance during Full Moon phases, but this is the one of all the months of the (astrological/natural cycle of life) year that has the most luminosity. It has the most power by which to see. Some years we have two lunar months like this, but this year we only have one. So, it emits the most light in the shortest time.
When we have higher amount of light (from various types of contributions – coronal mass ejections, pronounced astrological alignments, among many others), all levels of the body become supercharged. As a whole (and as a transformational wave for creating the Second Renaissance – the return of sanity and balance in line with the value/love/freedom/respect for life), we become “smarter” under increased energetics that produce light. More of the brain becomes active. The collective of humanity comes closer into unity.
This Full Moon is focused like a giant mirror in the sky, reflecting back the truth of matters that we need to see. But it is returning or reflecting back (to whatever/whomever is the origin) the energy and intentions that run contrary to the value/love/freedom/respect for life, especially actions during the Leo and Virgo cycles (roughly August and September of this year) and anything that has developed since October 9. In other words, all that was intended or held in mind or acted upon that was not in integrity or alignment with life will be “energetically returned.” In turn, all that was intended or held in mind or acted upon that WAS based in integrity or alignment will similarly be energetically returned. The Great Moon Mirror reflects back everything it has watched.
When the entire lunar month is like a month-long Full Moon, the first day of the Full Moon can be intense. The Sabian symbol for the Sun’s energy today is “a massive rocky shore resists the pounding of the sea.” This energy can come in like a barrage or an assault. The energy may be “pounding” out in your own astrology chart. But this symbol tells us that the shore is so massive, so rock-strong, that the pummeling of the sea (the churning of emotions) has little effect. Something may seem to have the power to overpower us, but it is not stronger than the shore. Turn to face a different direction if the winds of the way you are thinking and feeling are becoming more than you would like to handle.
The emotionality of the day is enhanced by the Earth’s position at “a widow at an open grave.” This energy always asks us what needs to be left behind, what “grave” of the past needs to be filled in. Grief and loss are SIGNIFICANTLY higher under this dynamic, and can bring feelings of not wanting to go on or continue. Since the degree of the Full Moon is the Chiron Point or the encapsulation of the archetypal energy of Chiron, which includes self-sabotage, some could feel today’s energy very deeply. Chiron wounds, heals, and teaches, so this is the underlying design. Our beliefs about ourselves are undergoing the most healing.
Mars reaches the familiar degree of “a girls basketball team” – the Sabian symbol of the Virgo lunar cycle – September 13 – October 11, 2015 – so a recurrence or evolution of something from that time could come today. (The Wisdom Goddesses- the girls basketball team – is reflecting everything back – what was sown is being reaped, and if what was sown was “ugly” it will wither greatly from the Great Moon Mirror’s reflection.)
Mercury us located at “a crowd on a beach,” enhancing social gatherings or meetings and engagements. Like minds join together. Unification occurs.
The important question for each of us this Full Moon is what do I realize? In other words, what am I making real? What is not real?
